I just wanna say, HABIT THREEE was the habit which i felt most regretful now that i had it in my past.

some examples are here:

-Years back, I used to find a lot of excuses to let myself play or sleep first before getting my homework done, everyday after school.

-Placed every homework to late night then slowly work on them.

-All work done in the past, were all last minute produced work.
till now, i think I still having that bad habit in me. but i gonna get rid of it and i believe i can do it one day. who can help~ HELP! =|

001. Be Proactive [ Take Responsibility for your life].

002. Begin with the End in Mind [ Define your mission and goal in life. ]

003. First Things 1ST [ Prioritise, and do the most impotant things first. ]

004. Think Win-Win [ Have a everyone can win attitude.]

005. Seek First to Understand then Be Understood [ Listen to people sincerely. ]

006. Synergise [ Work together to achieve more. ]

007. Sharpen the Saw [ Renew yourself regularly. ]

I shall carry out all the above, whenever i'm at work, because that will make me well prepared at things and achieve goals.
these are what i gained from today's lesson =]
i must rest well, so as to walk a longer path.
to achieve more, i must co-operate well with others =] no worries here, that's what i always do =]
think positively, look at the positive side, to avoid self to think or under estimate myself for doing things. i need to work on that. =[
i must always plan before act, so not to waste efforts and time.
today's lesson helps a lot =DD
great!
Thanks for your teaching, Mr. Tan, your lesson is Fun and interesting =P

My First Lesson on LPD =]

Today I had my first lesson on the subject LPD, was conducted by our CA ( Class Advisor - Mr. Tan ).
Mr. Tan has grouped us into groups. All groups were given a task to work on. We were told to list down numbers of good habits and some bad habits. Main objective of it, was to act as a reminder to remind us which good habits we must really practice to make us a better person and to avoid as much of bad habits that turn us bad.
Recall, list of good habits produced by my group,
[x] Punctuality
[x] Hard working
[x] Respectful and etc.

some bad habits listed by my group members & I,
[x] Smoking
[x] Vandalism
[x] ...

Throughout the whole lesson, these are what i absorbed.
Unit 1: EFFECTIVE HABITS

Mr. Tan shown us this.

What are habits?
( " Men's natures are a like; it is their habits that separate them" ) by Confucius.

Hmmm... i agree to that, we people are alike in ways from the look of our physical features that we all have eyes, mouth and ears etc, and the only thing that able to differentiate us are habits we carry out everyday. Good habits make us a better person, while bad habits result us to failure.

What exactly are habits?
Habits are things we do repeatedly.
But most of the time we are hardly aware that we have them.
They are autopilot.

What can habits do to us?
Depending on what they are, our habits will either make us or break us.
We become what we repeatedly do.

Besides, we've got some examples of habits from Mr. Tan in between of the lesson.

Some good habits,
[x] Exercising regularly
[x] Planning ahead
[x] Showing respect to others

Some Bad Habits,
[x] Thinking negatively
[x] Feeling inferior
[x] Blaming others

Lastly, some habits of which is
neither Good nor Bad,
[x]
Eating yoghurt with a fork
[x]
Reading magazine from back to front
[x]
Taking showers at night

then call it a day, the lesson ended.

After going through the first lesson of LPD, i learned loads of things relating to habits in our daily life, i need to put in some efforts to have more good habits than having bad habits, reason that i understood that good habits make us a better person ( a better ME), bad habits are only there to torn me apart into pieces and resulting me in a failure conditions.
Thanks Mr. Tan for conducting the lesson which focus on types of habits and effects of them.
